Graduate Intern

In the current social climate we live in, it is natural to become overwhelmed and overcame with emotional or physical stress. Sometimes we may not understand the source of these feelings and it is useful to work in alliance with someone who could possibly be able to assist. I am here to provide constructive support and understanding to those who are struggling with mental health concerns and are looking to dig deeper into its meaning.

I have recent experience working with adolescents ranging from middle school to high school in an intensive outpatient program working through several behavioral difficulties and disorders. The developmental years of our lives can be extremely difficult and often adolescents struggle to navigate through some of these confusing stages. I am passionate about building secure relationships with individuals experiencing troubling situations or behaviors and collaboratively working towards progress.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Missouri Baptist University and am currently working towards my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Missouri Baptist University. While I have always envisioned myself serving my community in some aspect of human service, I decided to direct my attention to the mental health aspect of individuals. I am thrilled to be able to work alongside Diversified Health and Wellness Center in providing mental health services!
