Graduate Intern

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and for your interest in prioritizing your mental health.

I am currently a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Missouri Baptist University, where I am earning my Master of Arts in Counseling.

I believe therapy is a privilege, and all individuals, especially those from minority and underserved communities deserve access to mental health resources. I am currently completing my internship, during which I provide affordable counseling services to the community. This not only allows me to give back, but also equips me with the tools and experience needed as I work toward licensure and completing my degree.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in building a strong foundation of trust. I am an active listener who brings warmth, empathy, and compassion into every session. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to talk about and work through life’s challenges.

Outside of my counseling work, I serve the community through the Federal Quality Health Center in St. Louis. This organization supports individuals who cannot afford dental, vision, psychiatric care, or nutrition services such as WIC. I am also a member of the Behavioral Health Crisis Response Team, where I continue to grow professionally while learning how to provide effective, compassionate care to those in crisis.
