PLPC

I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported. Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what comes next. My goal is to meet clients where they are, help them recognize the strengths they already possess, and work together to develop tools that can lead to meaningful and lasting change.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lindenwood University and provide counseling services under supervision. Before beginning my journey in the counseling field, I spent 12 years as an elementary school teacher and have served for nine years on a local school board. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on the challenges faced by children, adolescents, families, and the systems that support them.

My clinical interests include working with young children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and athletes experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, and family or school-related concerns.

My approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and client centered. I strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts and experiences. I incorporate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered counseling, and other evidence-based techniques based on the individual needs and goals of each client.

I look forward to walking alongside clients as they gain greater self-awareness, build resilience, and work toward positive change in their lives.
