Hi! My name is Jade and welcome to my page. I am a wife and mom of two sweet girls. I am a Christian and for as long as I can remember, my passion has always been to care for and to help others. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Alabama. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University and completing my internship here at Diversified with an expected graduation date of December 2024.

 

If you have found yourself here, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, depressed, or a combination of them all. It could be because of relationship or family conflicts, communication issues, trauma (recent or past), or other major life events. Have you tried to cope with these emotions, and it seems nothing helps? I have always held a strong belief in the power and influence that relationships can have over the well-being of individuals. As a Marriage and Family therapist (or systemic therapist), I work alongside families, couples, and individuals on their journey to healing and finding satisfaction within themselves and their interpersonal relationships. My goal is to explore with you your inner strengths and to use them to develop a “toolbox” of resources that help you cope with life stressors.

 

Seeking help can be daunting and, for some, may even increase those overwhelming and anxious feelings. Your feelings are valid, and you are not alone. I strive to create a safe space for each client and will meet you where you are in your process. This is your journey, and we will take it at a pace that is most comfortable for you.
