“Treat people as if they were what they out to be, and you help them to become what they are capable to being.” -Johann Wolfgang Von Goeth

Have you ever found yourself asking the question, “Why?” This and other existential questions can arise when facing life’s hardships.  I practice under an existential-humanistic approach, meaning that I believe it is essential for each of us to find our purpose in life while living as authentically as possible.  I believe therapy works best as a partnership, where we can talk openly about what you’re going through and work together to find the changes you’d like to see. Many of the people I meet are navigating things like anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, big life transitions, or questions around identity, and I approach each person with curiosity and care. Because everyone’s journey is different, I adapt my approach to fit your needs—often using tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). At the heart of my work is building a safe, supportive relationship where you feel understood and encouraged to grow.

I received a Bachelor’s degree from Fontbonne University in Fashion Merchandising.  I worked in the field for a number of years when I decided I needed to be the change that I wanted to see in the world.  I am currently completing clinical hours toward a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Missouri Baptist University in pursuit of my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.  My aim is to inspire hope, resiliency, and empowerment as I walk this path with you.
