Graduate Intern

I currently attend Maryville University, hoping to obtain my Master's degree in the Rehabilitation Counseling program! I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia before that and received my Undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Anthropology. I have a passion for multiculturalism and religion, I believe everyone is different and that’s what makes us all individually and uniquely important. I strive to be culturally aware and sensitive and believe it plays a big part in our mental health journey. I am an advocate for all and believe everyone should have the equity we all need and deserve.

I embrace the holistic and strengths-based approach in therapy and believe our mind, body, and spirit are all equally important. I strive to create a comfortable environment that allows people be
uncomfortable in order to grow and learn things about themselves with a little guidance. I will be the supportive person to push you in the direction that leads you on the journey of becoming who it is you strive to be. Often times when we are struggling mentally, it is hard to see our own strengths or unique
qualities. My approach is collaborative and although I lead you in the direction and encourage you, you will be the one to make the change and see your strengths for yourself.
