Each person walks a different path, and I am here to guide you through your life journey.
I take an integrative approach to counseling and draw on multiple theories and resources used to fit the unique needs of an individual. We will work together in a supportive and accepting space to explore your challenges, strengths, coping strategies, and relationships in search of better self-awareness and self-efficacy.
I received a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from St. Louis University in 2016 and am currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education at the University of Missouri- St. Louis. My clinical work has focused on healing from traumatic experiences, particularly intimate partner or domestic violence and sexual assault. I use a variety of tools to assist the client in their healing, including personality assessments, bibliotherapy, and role-playing. I am also trained in the basics of EMDR therapy, an approach that targets complex traumatic memories.
I have experience working with clients intimate partner violence, experiencing depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, perfectionism, impostor syndrome, developmental and complex trauma, and struggles with identity.
I work primarily with adults in an individual or group setting.
