Michelle graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics and Summa Cum Laude from Saint Louis University with her Masters. She received the DeNardo Scholarship award for the most outstanding research student in 2017, and her thesis, “Short Term Effects of a Mediterranean Diet on Exercise Performance,” was published in the Journal of American College of Nutrition in January of 2019. Michelle began her career at an eating recovery center in Fenton, Missouri, empowering her clients to heal their relationship with food and their body. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and creates a variety of nutrition-related content as a freelance author.
Michelle is a member of the national and local chapters of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and aspires to become a Certified Eating Disorder Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. Other areas of interest include weight management, digestive issues, intuitive eating and general nutrition education.
