Have you ever felt like you were alone? Do you often have feelings of being uncomfortable and not feeling like you are being heard or even validated in your experience? You are not alone, and many people experience these exact same feelings. I will work collaboratively alongside you to create a safe space that allows for your authentic self-expression.
My passion is to make sure your voice is not just heard but understood in a world where it is often not safe to share how we truly feel. My theoretical approach is wide-ranging to suit each of my client’s individual needs.
I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, women’s empowerment therapy, self-esteem issues, multicultural counseling, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, mindfulness, gestalt, trauma-focused, and relational-cultural therapy. I am committed to working with domestic violence survivors, trauma survivors, and social justice initiatives. I also enjoy working with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and general life concerns.
I have experience with all ages and cultural backgrounds having worked in hospital and clinical settings. My approach to therapy is warm, inviting, and nonjudgmental leaving the space for clients to be their most authentic selves. I foster client growth through collaboration, support, and unconditional positive regard.
