Graduate Intern

You’re not crazy and you’re not alone. To express life as a beautiful disaster can be an understatement at times. We each have a unique experience and perspective on life’s curve balls and it’s important to have someone you feel safe with in order to truly unravel and feel heard. Everyone should have someone they can turn to. As a former D1 athlete and personal trainer of 11 years, I believe being part of a “team” and having a strong support system is crucial in reaching not only physical goals, but mental health and overall life goals. Our mind is our most prevalent saboteur while simultaneously being our most powerful resource in navigating the challenges of life. I’m passionate about helping others to better manage various aspects of their daily lives, ranging from external influences such as relationships, careers, and other big life changes to internal influences like anxiety, depression, trauma management and ADHD.  My  psychological approach is tailored to each client’s needs utilizing an eclectic methodology or combination of Attachment, CBT, Adlerian, Narrative and Psychodynamic theories.

I attained my BA in Exercise Science from Valparaiso University, a certificate in Behavioral Change from NASM, my MS In Social Psychology from Walden University and am currently completing my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling specializing in Trauma from Walden University.
