Kate believes counseling and therapy are pathways to change. Everyone is different and all sessions are individualized, based on the client’s needs and goals.
Kate has been providing counseling services since 2002, specializing in mental health issues including depression and anxiety, PTSD, physical disabilities (including sudden onset), career changes and job loss.
Since 2004, Kate has worked with a state agency to assist people with disabilities find and maintain employment opportunities. She supports teens and adults with varying degrees of hearing loss as well as other mental health, cognitive and physical disabilities. She is fluent in American Sign Language.
Other professional experience includes Human Resources and Marketing before Kate graduated from Argosy University in Atlanta, GA with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. She graduated from UM – St. Louis with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a earned a Certificate in Deaf Communication Studies from St. Louis Community College.
