B.A., B.S., Graduate Intern

Sometimes life happens and we go through rough patches. Sometimes we need a space to process things that we feel we can’t talk to friends or family about. Sometimes we feel like there is no one listening. During your session, you can expect a judgement free zone and a safe space for you to be open
where someone will genuinely hear you. We will also work collaboratively on a plan to get you back to your best.

My specific interests are working with difficult-to-navigate disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or psychosis. I also like to work with teachers, military and family members, minorities and the aging population. I am open and excited to work with those that fit outside this list as well; everyone is
interesting and worth my time. I usually work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, but also have an eclectic approach to tailor techniques to each client’s needs.

In my past lives, I have worked in direct care with the elderly, taught middle and high school, and was an F-16 mechanic in the Air National Guard. I was also once a zookeeper. I have experience in many different fields, with many different populations. I always enjoy learning new things and meeting new
people. Every person is their own book with a story to tell.

I look forward to hearing your story and helping you rewrite it.

I received an associates in aircraft maintenance from the Community College of the Air Force, a bachelor of arts in Secondary Education-English and a bachelor of science in Psychology from the University of South Dakota, and am finishing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UMSL.
