Counseling is about being yourself, sharing your story, expressing emotions in a healthy and safe manner while learning how to cope with what may be troubling you. Counseling is a step in the right direction, and I look forward to helping you take that step!
My mission in our counseling sessions is to get an understanding of where you would like to see yourself while taking a collaborative and solution-focused approach to begin accomplishing your goals. I want you to feel heard, safe, and authentic in our sessions. I will help you achieve these feelings by creating a trusting, transparent, working relationship with one another and offering a warm and inviting atmosphere where you may be your true self.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2017, and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in 2021.
