“Keep taking time for yourself until you’re you again.”
Everyone experiences conflicts and stressors in life, and everyone has mental health! I am so proud of you for taking the first step in getting help. Counseling is one of the most beneficial forms of self-care. Maybe you are struggling with creating a healthy work-life balance. Or maybe you need help setting boundaries with others. Maybe you are going through a life transition and not sure where to go next. Maybe you’re not sure what is wrong, but something just feels off. You don’t have to go through it alone! I am passionate about creating a welcoming and non-judgmental environment for you to share your story and learn strategies to work towards living your best life.
I take an eclectic approach to counseling and believe there is no one-size-fits all solution. I will work with you to find the best strategies to meet your individual treatment goals. Some theories I most enjoy drawing from are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and Existential Therapy, as well as others.
I am currently working towards my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lindenwood University. Prior to studying at Lindenwood University, I earned my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Art Studio from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
