B.A., Graduate Intern
Real work can bring real change.
As a counseling intern, Jackie believes that all clients have the capacity to make real progress toward positive change. She also empathically recognizes that progress and change can be difficult and scary. With this in mind, Jackie compassionately meets each client where they are today. Counseling is not a one-size-fits-all practice; Jackie recognizes this and works with clients to tailor a therapeutic approach to their individual needs. She also understands the power of the therapeutic relationship between client and counselor and wants to make the collaborative process of counseling meaningful for her clients.
Jackie works with adults, young adults, and couples. She specializes in anxiety, depression, divorce care, employment issues, insomnia, premarital, martial, and couples counseling, parenting, and stress relief. She also works with women’s needs such as infertility, pregnancy, prenatal and post-partum care, and weight and body image.
Before Jackie was a counselor in training, she spent a decade working in Equity Research at an investment bank. She draws on her experience in banking to assist clients who work in high-stress careers and struggle with life-work balance and extremely high-pressured work environments.
