M.A., Life Coach, Counseling Intern
Owner, Ginny Kappel Life Coaching
How many times have you had this thought: “I want to talk to someone but where do I start?” Usually, when we need to talk to someone most, we are in a state of mind that doesn’t afford us the extra time or energy for the research. As a Life Coach and a Counseling Intern, I pride myself on being down to earth and relatable. I strongly believe that YOU are the expert on you; I’m there to help provide a new perspective by hearing patterns of thought or themes as you process.
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While working as an intern, toward licensure in counseling, I also have a life coaching business.
Being in this field is truly rewarding. I genuinely love watching my clients transform throughout our time together. I have a special interest in working with teenage girls and moms, especially new moms in life transitions.
Special Interests: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, boundaries, relationships (of all kinds), women’s issues, motherhood, stress around life transitions and self-care
Treatment Modalities: CBT, person-centered talk therapy, Play Therapy techniques, DBT techniques, and group therapy
Common Coaching Topics: anxiety, relationships, self-awareness, independence, boundaries, motivation, empowerment and accountability
