Graduate Intern

Navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. In today’s cultural climate, we can feel defeated, isolated, and overburdened by personal and global issues. Seeking therapy can be a monumental step toward gaining deeper insight, building confidence, and addressing life’s hardships. As a counseling intern, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted. I am committed to empathetically listening to my client’s unique perspective and when appropriate, providing constructive feedback. I am passionate about empowering my clients to heal, reflect, and implement sustainable change.

With a background in the creative arts and my experience as a yoga instructor, I believe approaching challenges with creativity, compassion, and curiosity can be impactful. Practical tools like mindfulness, breath work, and somatic regulation impact my work with clients.

My recent experience includes working with women as they face mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression; as well as emotional regulation, stress management, family conflict and relationship issues, body image, shame, navigating life transitions, and more.

I have a bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre from Ball State University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and seeking my LPC licensure through Lindenwood University. I am honored and enthusiastic to work alongside the Diversified Health and Wellness Center providing mental health services.
